Best Way to Plan Wedding on a Budget is at a Bridal Show
So you are engaged and wondering how to get started? Whether money is tight or your budget is endless you still want the wedding you and your fiance have talked about. You could start searching the internet, but what do you really know about all the businesses you find there? How do you go about seeing their products up close and personal? How can you go about meeting them all face to face in a short amount of time?
Chances are if you ask your friends who got married over the years, you will find that many of them went to a Bridal Spectacular bridal show. When you attend a well established bridal show like The Bridal Spectacular which has been producing their shows since 1991, you can expect to find all the services you will need under one roof. You will find aisles and aisles of professionals to talk to, lots of wedding themes and ideas, and opportunities to taste, touch, and experience every aspect of planning your wedding.
The next Bridal Spectacular is August 21 & 22 at Cashman Convention Center. Tickets are now on sale at their website. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and planning to stay at least 4 hours to see everything and take in a fashion show!

Saving Money on Music at Your Wedding
- You can still have the wedding you want, but the first thing to consider is to put the date off a little longer than you would like and save for it! Don't go into debt just to have it right away and then start your married life together overwhelmed financially and possibly end up divorced.
- Don't just plan to use an ipod and do it yourself. That could end up destroying your happy day. Without a professional emcee there to direct events, get the party going, and make special announcements, your wedding could be over in an hour.
- The best way to cut $100 off your entertainment budget might be to book your entertainment for 3 hours instead of 4. Or have your wedding on a week day instead of the weekend. That one decision alone can save you on most every service you will need.
- If you simply can't wait and want to get married now, then plan a simpler chapel wedding and hold a big party a year down the road and relive your special day with everyone present!
Wedding professionals let's hear from you, give us your ideas for how couples can save money and still have the wedding they have been yearning for!
Thanks to Jennifer Spangler for her tips and advice. Knight Sounds Entertainment has been a vendor at the Bridal Spectacular for 30 shows! You will be able to meet them in person at the August Bridal Spectacular.

This week we had the honor of interviewing one of Las Vegas' finest wedding reception facilities. Stacey Kirk, Catering Director of The Anthem Country Club told us Anthem Country Club is a gem of a boutique property in the foothills of the surrounding mountains. The view of the valley and the lights of the strip create the ideal backdrop for a Vegas wedding, whether viewed from the ceremony site on the pond or from the main dining room overlooking it all. The impeccable service and incomparable cuisine are surpassed only by the personalized attention every bride receives from her very first contact with the club until her departure at the end of her wedding day.
Having had the opportunity to visit the facility myself was a wonderful experience. As Stacey has already ponted out the views are breathtaking.
You can visit with the Anthem Country Club and find out more about their facility at booth 274 and 276 at the Bridal Spectacular January 9 & 10, 2009 at our new location The World Market Center.http://www.bridalspectacular.com/
The first 300 brides each day at the show will receive a commemorative keepsake Wedding Planning bag! We look forward to seeing you there.
